Richard Schmid, Fully registered and insured building inspector practicing for more than 25 years. A college education prepared Richard for construction management in 1986. Initial projects ranged from custom ski chalets to multi-million dollar hotels throughout Southern Ontario. This in turn led to project management with Bramalea Ltd, which at that time was one of North America’s largest public developers.
Richard’s expertise was applied to several high profile office building projects ( 1 Queen St. East, 33 & 121 Bloor St. East ).
Bramalea’s demise in the early 1990’s, brought the fortuitous inception of “The Castle Group†building inspections. Richard’s experience allows for in-depth Residential, Commercial and Industrial inspections.
